The Pixies have announced an intimate sideshow following the sellout of their March arena show in Auckland.

Pixies at Constitution Hall, Washington DC
Only 1100 tickets will be sold, around one-tenth of the size of the band’s sold out show at the 12,500-strong Vector Arena on March 12.
On the Doolittle tour, The Pixies are performing all of the songs from Doolittle and related B-sides, including classics such as Debaser, Wave of Mutilation, Here Comes Your Man, Hey and Gouge Away.
“We wanted to do something special for Doolittle’s 20th anniversary,” The Pixies songwriter and singer Black Francis said.
“We thought this was a good opportunity to play all of the songs from that album, something we don’t normally do at a regular gig.”
The group – Francis, Kim Deal, Joey Santiago and David Lovering – will also play in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth after their Auckland shows.
Tickets for the sideshow go on sale on February 4.
