Pixies' Doolittle Anniversary Tour - 2009
2011 Pixies Tour Dates
The Pixies are keeping the Doolittle train rolling after more than 50 shows, announcing this morning a new round of 16 North American dates this April and May that mostly will hit Canadian cities for the first time — but with stops in Detroit, Milwaukee and St. Paul, Minn. thrown in as well.
The new trek — which once again will find the band playing its 1989 album in its entirety, plus all of its B-sides — opens April 9 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and wraps up nearly a month later, on May 3, in Vancouver, B.C. In between the Canadian run, the tour hits those three U.S. cities April 22-24.
